FAQ
Q: How Big Is Your Congregation?
A:
We have about 150 individuals on our church membership list.
Q: Are Church Services Informal Or Formal?
A:
We are an informal congregation. Dressing in clean comfortable clothing is typical.
Q: What Options Do I Have For My Children During Church Service?
A:
Many parents take advantage of our Nursery Care (individuals paid, with background checks), or if you like keep the children with you (a crying child is a gift, and members respond with a knowing smile).
Q: Will I Get To Know People?
A:
Yes, the congregation tries to be warm and inclusive. Our sense of community is intentional.
Q: Is There Convenient Parking Available?
A:
We have lots of parking to the rear of the church. There are handicapped parking spaces available close to the entrance. Our new addition is completed and there is a circular drive up to the entrace for drop off. Ask one of the greeters at the door to take your car to the parking area.
Q: Is The Church Handicapped Accessible?
A:
The current building is handicapped accessable for the first floor rooms. With our new addition, there will be drop off access at the front door, handicapped parking close to the front door, elevator service to the lower level, and completely accessable bathrooms on the first floor.
Q: I have a heart condition. Will you be able to help me if I have a problem?
A:
Yes, the church has an AED, with trained users. A number of members in our congregation also have medical backgrounds. The church is located on Route 53 which allows quick response from Glen Ellyn emergency response units.
