Mission Trip To MMDC Pictures - 4/5 to 4/8/09
St. Thomas UMC sent 10 individuals to the Midwest Distribution Center in Chatham, Il. The team stayed in the dorm, cooked meals together, worked in the distribution center, and celebrated moments of togetherness. The team had a fun time doing sewing, putting together health kits, stocking flood buckets,doing MMDC center repairs, etc. Lots of laughs made the work pass quickly.
Being at MMDC was especially meaningful at this time since much of the effort resulted in replentishing items sent to the flood victims in North Dakota.
For those of you who went to the Tree Of Life Mission Trip in South Dakota, we saw school bags in pallets, destined for that area. Note the pictures that reference Tree Of Life!
